Espresso

Espresso is the base of all our specialty coffees. We use espresso in Caffe Latte, Cappuccino, café au lait, caramello and mocha café. Espresso is an 11/4 ounce shot that has aroma, flavor and an amazing crèma on top. One shot of espresso has between 7 and 9 grams of finely ground coffee. Virgin Hill Coffee uses only Arabica beans in our espressos and we have two different categories. First category is the Italian roast which is very creamy with great aroma, loads of acidity and the thickest crèma you have ever seen. The after taste is one that is strong and long lasting on your palate. The second category of espresso is the French espresso. The French espressos are generally a darker roast and are a little stronger. They have an explosive flavor sweet aroma and a sweet almost caramel after taste.
