Decaffeinated

 
We use two different types of decaf. The first is a Swiss Water Process (SWP) which is 100% chemical free. The coffee beans are put into hot water which then extracts the flavor and caffeine. The beans are removed from the water and the water is then passed threw charcoal filters to remove the caffeine. The beans are then place back in the water and there flavor is restored minus the caffeine. This process is 99% caffeine free. The second decaf we use is called KVW Process. This process is done by a company in Hamburg and is widely renowned for its decaffeinization process. This process consists of heating the beans in a solvent over and over until the most caffeine possible has been removed. This process is at best 97% caffeine free.
